2011 The Ford Fiesta-S1600

Available in four-door hatchback or four-door sedan, the Ford Fiesta has effectively raised the bar for the subcompact segment by offering a car that is better equipped and offering best-in-class fuel economy. Indeed, the Ford Fiesta SFE, equipped with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission gets 29 mpg city, 40 mpg highway.

The engine that powers the Fiesta is a V4 1.6 with 120hp. Even though it's not a hot rod and doesn't sport a super powerful vehicle, the car has a lot of spirit and is quite fun to drive. It reaches the 0-60 mark in 9.5 seconds. The feature that stands out the most about the Fiesta is its superior gas mileage; 30 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway. This is almost quite as good as some hybrid models. A finely tuned suspension allows for great handling on the freeways and around curves.
